Georgia Death Race - Crew Information

Only one crew vehicle is allowed per runner. If you have a crew , you will receive a crew vehicle display card indicating your group. This needs to be placed in plain view on the dash of the crew vehicle. Crew vehicle display cards can be picked up Friday evening at packet pick-up. You must have a crew vehicle display card before heading out to crew accessible aid stations. Runners will be divided into FOUR Groups, and given specific aid stations where they may meet their crew:
-
GROUP 1 - MULKY GAP
-
GROUP 2 - FISH GAP
-
GROUP 3 - SKEENAH
-
GROUP 4 - SWINGING BRIDGE
-
ALL GROUPS ALLOWED AT JAKE BULL
IMPORTANT CREW REMINDERS
-
Crews may only visit their designated aid stations according to their Group#
-
No crews may drive up or down Winding Stair Gap Road aka USFS 77 or noontootla/USFS 58. If you're driving on a dirt road and you see race flagging turn around immediately
-
Per our permit and for safety, we CAN NOT block the road.
-
All cars will have to park on the same side of the road while at crew access points/aid stations
-
If you are asked to move your vehicle, please do so. These roads, trailheads, and trails are open to the public, and we need to give them priority and respect! Please help us out!
-
Crews are not allowed to spend extended time waiting at Jake Bull for their runners! Crews must wait at Amicalola State Park (or elsewhere NOT along Nimblewill Church Rd, including the church) before crewing their runner at Jake Bull. Amicalola will have access to WiFi and live timing to track your runner and plan your Jake Bull crewing arrival. Jake Bull is roughly 15-20 minutes from Amicalola. The first place runner will take just over an hour to go from Winding Stair Gap to Jake Bull, while our slowest runner will take 2 hours or longer. Know your runner!
